Back when I was a teenager I was at the gift shop at the Sahara Tahoe (1975). They had some slides for sale with postcards and one of the slides was of the old Harrah's Club on the Harvey's side of the street. This must have been right before they sold that property to Harvey's. The bull nose sign at the state line said "Harrah's (swing logo) above a neon sign just below said "Thrifty Gambler"

In the Harvey's image below - this is the same sign shape except the neon was replaced by the white sign material and the bottom stained glass material was just open fluorescent bulbs.

If anyone has an image of "Harrah's Thrifty Gambler" please post - I have been wanting to see it again for nearly 40 years.
