comes across chips and often comes across tokens. They have a small tray/bucket that holds these items, but I have to ask for them to pull it out. I stop by about every 2 - 3 weeks and just ask... Ya got anything for me?
This time around I was told that a couple things were added. I think I went for all of them. (I have 2 more pics share.)
Tucson is a town of about 1 million (greater area) and there are several coin shops. I tend to stop by 3 or 4 of them looking for casino stuff. Rarely find anything, but sometimes will find a cool item or two. I've asked where the chips come from and generally, they end up there as a function of the owner buying lots from Estate sales and auctions.
The owner is also a collector, without being heavily engaged in the hobby. He has slot machines, punch boards and other stuff (non gaming) but in the years I've known him, he has never shared with me what he has as a chip collection.
Thanks for asking.
