Pam and David, I am in total agreement with you.
The California section of the boards chip guide is loaded with many of my chips scans. Many are of one of a kind chips. I would not have minded these scans being used had I been asked. But, I was not. There is not one listed with me as contributor. I can live with that, but have to admit I do resent it a little. It has made me a lot less likely to submit scans of rare California chips.
I think the guide is a great resource for our club members, but I don't care for the methods that were used to achieve the goal. Maybe Pam's post will result in continueing to improve a valuable asset with a little better proceedure.
