Thanks for the responses on my query. I understand cancelled chips via notches or overstamps as being worth 10% to 15% of listed value. But using an existing chip as an ink test vehicle for another casino's graphics I find unique. For example, I have a one dollar Desert Inn chip with different overstamps on each sides. One side shows a cowboy on a bucking bronk and the other depicts a cowboy with
lasso and chaps. As a description, floor sweepings, sound too harsh. A stage worth noting in the creation-production process, maybe? R-7362, Robert Denbow
