I don't know if this will be any help to anyone....I'm certainly confused!
I looked at all the sources I could think of, to assemble whatever dates I could regarding when the Tahoe Palace and Tahoe Plaza were in operation.
I was hoping "Wood Chips to Game Chips" or "Historic Photos of Lake Tahoe" would yield some information...but if it was there, I didn't find it.
Is it possible that the entity started, in 1954, as the Tahoe Plaza...Changed to the Tahoe Palace, maybe with new owners, in 1956...maybe went bankrupt or something in 1959...then went back to the original owners, and back to the Tahoe Plaza name, in 1959...which could have triggered the new chip order in April of 1959...??? (We need Gene's team!!!!! )
So...here's what I could find....
