Lyle, this makes for a very compelling case that this location was first the Tahoe Plaza, then became the Tahoe Palace before being incorporated into Harrah's at the end of the 1950s.

That would mean the ChipRack and Gaming Table seem to have their dates wrong.

And that this location first was the Plaza, then became the Palace until 1959 when Harrah's expanded their operation on the east side of Hwy 50.
