New Jersey Tax Rate of 8% + 1.25%
Pennsylvania Tax Rate 55% Slots 17% Tables
Maryland 67% Initially - Maryland Live 59% Caesars Baltimore 60%
Delaware 35.5%
West Virginia 38.3%
Rhode Island 27.58%

If you were to build a casino on a business model that would earn $18 Million a month in gaming revenue or $216 million a year in gaming revenue where would you like it go be located?

So if you had a casino in each one of these markets where would you want your high rollers to play?

The answer for both is New Jersey

This is the reason Caesars would like Atlantic City to stabilize - they make more money on the bottom line in lower taxed jurisdictions. Why would Caesars be in Baltimore, MD and Chester, PA? They feel the population in those areas creates a higher volume of guests playing - higher slot and table game occupancy with less fluctuation from slow times to busy times can create a profitable business model.
