Where do you get your info from or do you just make it up as you go along?
17 sets (according to the Manager who authorised the holing) were not given out to key employees but then it could have happened "above his head" so I will try to ask them instead as I would like to know.
Obviously the ones from the Palm Beach are not the ones I am offering. I have said exactly how I got hold of them but hey......cast more aspersions wht don't you.
The cage manager? Well, funnily enough 1 of the ones I have is from the Cash Desk Manager who was there at the time of the "bonanza" and he grabbed a handful although he never mentioned to me about selling them on, maybe there was another manager there then (I will try to find out).
A £25000 of the "small" set of 2? I thought there may be others to the set (same denominations as the others but different design). With 2 lines on the £ sign, hmm ok. According to the Manager, Cash Desk Manager and the cash desk "records" there weren't any £25,000s (which to me seems logical) but I suppose they could have been taken out of circulation before being taken over and those people starting there nso they wouldn't know any different.
I think that the ones with stripes (and oval too) were the cash ones but again maybe everybody has just forgotten. I was told that there were only 2 other plaque types known (one is Ivory and the other is tortoiseshell but I will try to get hold of any records that are still hanging around to confirm if any other types exist if I can, but not holding my breath.
LCI has never had anything to do with the Clermont so......why were they mentioned?

The reason they were holed was because they were "clogging up" the "cupboard" and somebody thought it would be a novel idea to let the staff have some so yes, they were given away exactly as I have stated. At least 6 members of staff have told me that or are all of them liars?
Maybe that's why I don't "know" all of the history on them, as you put it.
