That one is only shown in TCR as grey, so makes a good calibration point for the eye of the author who assigned the catalog numbers. In my scan it is darker than the others. If so, it's likely none your four chips shown would be grey. TCR lists only one HORSEHOE mold dollar with large shoe on the inlay as grey.
If you can add the DIESWRL to your scan, that may answer the question.
Obviously, there are subjective aspects to color identification. Unless there are TCR entries that most collectors think are incorrect, I'm inclined to accept the varieties TCR arrives at.
