I too am here for my work except I will be here for 2 or 3 years. I would have to say China is a place that is absolutely amazing and one can learn a tremendous amount if he/she has that desire to do so. I have developed a great love for these people and people can tell when you are sincere. I can do some pretty cool things here. But when I was in France I had to go to 5 different banks before someone would help me. Why? Because I was an American. Pretty sad. We can all learn from one another, and I am learning somethings here that will surely benefit my life when I return home. Try to enjoy your stay. Take care
