I think the Bonnie you are asking about is the lady that ran the QPC in 1997. It was a disaster.
If that is the Bonnie you are asking about. I knew her well. She was a travel agent and a high limit poker player.
She went on several of the poker cruises I ran as a player.
Nice lady as far as I know.

I also ran a BJ tourney for her and Russ Hamilton at the Palms. It was run like a poker tourney, 1 table and Super satellites. That was before the Russ Hamilton story broke. The Palms had a big contract to run their BJ tourneys. They cancelled them after the story broke.

Side note: During the big BJ tourney, The Palms barred all the big name BJ and poker players from the pit BJ tables. Craps OK but no BJ.
Didn't sit well with them.
