I agree, Archie; great movie--but as for the AA, that's so political it doesn't depend on how good a movie is. Consider that in 2012 ARGO won (a good movie but absolutely not in the same class as LINCOLN). As far as I'm concerned, ARGO won because of Ben Affleck's relationship to the Academy people. But I do hope The Butler wins. Maybe Affleck will spend the year playing poker and not making more movies.
