Your situation (generalized into a question) would be an interesting topic for them to tackle, IMO.
Maybe ask "If I find a chip or token on a casino floor, or find unredeemed slot credits or TITO slip, can I cash it? etc."

They're not lawyers, but seem to have a pretty good handle on how such things work in Nevada casinos.
