The Nevada State Senate approved a bill for the state to collect an estimated $35 million a year from unredeemed slot machine winnings kept by Nevada casinos.

The Bill (AB219) allows the state to collect 75% of any unredeemed slot machine wagering vouchers that go unclaimed past a printed expiration or up to six months.
