I recently had an ebay buyer claim they did not receive a package after two weeks. I mail out most of my chips first class in a small bubble packet and don't opt for the additional tracking feature. It has only been once in a blue moon that someone says they didn't get something, so on lower value chips I take my chances without the tracking... Well, a couple months ago my post office started adding an additional bar code sticker to the envelopes I mail out. When I asked, they said it is for internal tracking only and I could not track it online, but as I've found out, their internal tracking can be shared we the costumer, because I kept my receipt and when I went back with my receipt they printed out a detailed tracking history on the envelope including the ((second)) it was scanned upon it's delivery to the buyer. So... After I sent that copy to ebay "claims", my buyer's case was dropped.
