A closer look at the SS Tango clover chip

When I have nothing better to do, many times, I think of the clover Tango chip. I scanned the clover inlay at 720 dpi. Interesting that it appears, I could be wrong, but the 4 leaf clover may actually be a 3 leaf clover with and extra leaf added to make it appear genuine. I think USPC also intentionally broke the stem of the leaf on the right side so that it appears to be in the position the leaf would be had it been a 4 leaf clover.

Again, the only chip I know of with a living organism a part of the inlay. The white ring I believe was inlayed to make sure the chip could be distinguished from one of the tango chips in use. BTW, the color of the chip is yellow whereas the actual tango chip is gold, Also the clover tango has a square edge, the actual chip has a reeded edge.

I think I'm pretty safe in saying that this may be the only clover Tango. I would rate it UNIQUE.

Now who was the chip ordered for: Tony Stralla? The ship's captain? a whale (heavy gambler)?
