I used to bet on boxing. Holyfield is one of my favorite boxers. My friend and I bet $100 on him to win in his first fight with Tyson. We bet early, and got 25 to 1. Obviously, Holyfield won so we had $2500 each. (Remember this was 1996 dollars.) Most boxing guys were saying Holyfield's win was a fluke, so the rematch was going to be HUGE!! My friend and I decided to take the money and got to Vegas for the rematch. We stayed at "New York, New York" as that was to closest place we could find nearest to the MGM that was not full.

I paid $600 for the ticket. That was in the cheap seats. Before the fight, we hung around the MGM to soak up the atmosphere. I played some BJ and noticed they had a cool chip on the table:

I picked one up. I later to decide to check the internet about the chip and the rest is history.

I did bet on Holyfield for the rematch, I just didn't count on the "ear bite".
