My ancient, Dell Latitude D6000, has finally died. It's suffering from black-screen after log-in. I'm thinking of getting a Dell Inspiron Ultrabook 15.6 Touch. It ships with Windows 8. I understand that version of Windows is best on a touch-screen.

Anybody have any experience with this family of computers? No need to suggest other computer brands as I have a Dell Preferred Account, and will be buying Dell.

I've been reading reviews, and most of them are just: "I hate Windows 8." Didn't we all hate Windows 95 when it came out so many years ago? At least it's not Windows ME!!

Any help/info would be appreciated.
