I agree on the insignia. I spent two years in Newport in an admirals staff as a photographer. Then president Nixon visited on the occasion of his son-in-law, David Eisenhower, graduating from the Naval War College. I remember Nixon's walk from one building to the next was pretty much laid out by the secret service. We Navy photographers were given much closer access than the national news photogs. I bet they were pissed.
