Not great, but better than the dodgy looking characters that hold out cards for a range of 'adult' services - and despite what I have been told on many occasions, they do not move out of the way if you don't want them, they just stay there with their arms out and you have to knock past them or try and walk around (not easy with several of them together). Having your family with you makes no difference either.
They are the one thing that I would suggest makes the strip an unwelcoming place - maybe it's because that is something I am just not used to seeing at home. While the cartoon characters I agree are hardly welcoming, I don't find them offensive.
