After thorough research on CNET and other sites, I bought a Nook yesterday. I own 400 e-books and magazines and wanted something lighter than my iPad, plus I wanted a backup tablet.
I also have an iPhone 4S and an iTouch so I am used to Apple and iOS.
Long story short; after 24 hours of ownership I am very happy with the Nook HD+ as an e-reader but am very disappointed with the lack of apps compared to Apple. Perhaps I am doing something wrong and/or am searching incorrectly. But, find an app for CNET like the one I have on my iPad should be easy, but I can't find one . I would appreciate any tips for searching Android apps.
Just a heads up for those who may be looking at tablets and/or e-readers. I am also very happy with the light weight of the Nook.
