yeah...like your extra money was really going to put the club RIGHT over the top. And we could have done SO MUCH with that extra money. What it is is a club rule, a precedence that has been followed for many years. I can't help it that you don't like the rule or don't agree with the precedence. I may not agree with it or I might not like it, but we are simply following what was done before us. Others have done it, paid the extra money to reclaim their old number...so how is it fair that they have paid & you wouldn't have to? And if that number doesn't mean that much as far as how others look upon it, why not just take a new number just like many other past members have done. Doesn't make you less honorable or trustworthy, correct? Same person, different number...no big deal, right? It's just a number.

This club is in sound financial shape. So for you to make a statement that "it's all about the money" is a bit ridiculous. Just my opinion, though.
