One other item involving the possibility of a copy of the magazine being online is that if people only want the online version it will not reduce the total cost to print the magazine. We currently print something like 1300 copies of the magazine for around $8700. If we go to an online version and only 1000 people want the printed copy our cost is still going to be around $8700 due to set up costs, etc.
I myself have no problem with the club board being somewhat inactive since it is intended for club business. There just is not that much club business being discussed. If you remove all of the posts of chips for sale or trade the Chipboard volume would probably drop by 2/3 also. That does not mean that either are not serving their purpose. As long as chip collectors or those interested in chips and/or casinos can find both the club board and chipboard I think we are serving their needs. The problem is how to get more people to either board to start.
