This guy had a box of chips about as big as Seymour's book and eight inches high just full of chips. Most were common inlaid crescent and star types but it was loaded with other neat chips. I want to try and get back to his place soon. I gave him all the money I had on me. I just had no idea when he said he had some poker chips. He said these came from an old card club that met in a building in Bellevue Ky. When the building was to be torn down and the group dispersed, this guys brother was given the chips. He didn't know why he got them because he was not a card player. It was just a case of someone that knew someone and they said "Here, you can have these". From the look of some of the chips and the holes drilled in them I believe they were collected a USPC back in the day. Anyway the guy who got the chips was a real church goer and wanted nothing to do with the gambling stuff so he gave them to his brother and he he has just been sitting on them for years. Just about everything I showed is stuff I really like myself. I didn't want to give everyone the impression that they're for sale or trade. I just wanted to share what I found....I collect this stuff too. Sadly there weren't too many dupes.
I love yard sales and being in the right place at the right time.
