Very nice group of chips. Being French-Canadian I found the Montreal St. Denis Club chip interesting.
I'd heard about it but didn't know much about it. Just found article snippets that sum up the club:
"(the club was a) discrete witness to the evolution of the Quebec Francophone community through its most influential players".
"The elite and very private Club St. Denis catered to wealthy French Canadians.
It's doors were only opened to exclusive members up until the day it closed.
Opened in 1874, it eventually closed in 2009 after 135 years."
In other words that's where they've been planning on separating Quebec from Canada for 135 years... .
If that St. Denis chip is for sale I'll take it.
