Seriously; in my opinion there were more collectors interested in making a buck in the hoppy than there were collectors who simply enjoyed collecting... and they joined those who were selling short just in order to recupe and move on... and those who stuck around are adding to their collection and enjoying the hobby, still.

[I see this in the majority of posts pertaining to chips that are of low value where those collectors are just happy to collect. Example being those Saturday "Flea Market Finds" posts where hours were spent in search of a handful of chips having low values -- yet with great enjoyment]
