The Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad (L.A. & S.L. R.R.) schedule of conductors comes from a railroad booklet of some kind. A train schedule booklet perhaps?
The Apache ad & others are simply advertising. It appears that the reverse of the Coors distributor ad is for Sewell's United Store, or something like that. The Apache ad does confirm live table games (which the pictures show also).
As for the Conductors listed, I think the dates are hire (seniority) dates, not birth dates, as they repeat too often to be birthdays. Perhaps a "class" of conductors was hired every so often. If so, maybe the table is used to determine who bids on which runs, in seniority order, per their union.
