I just got off the phone with Gene Trimble- I had a nice 30 minute chat with him and saw this reply from David. I told Gene I'm not sure exactly when this current disclaimer was changed from the one I posted, but it could only have been done recently- possibly the last two to three weeks that I can see, since every time I see one of the chips in question being sold, I put them on my Ebay watchlist, and this is the first time I have seen the new claim.

This new claim, while much more straightforward, is still not 100% honest as it reads:

"This chip appears to have been manufactured after the close of the casino" should read "This chip WAS manufactured after the close of the casino" - Any professional seller of these chips are aware of their true origin.
