We went to the school fete at my daughter's old junior school yesterday (she moved from there last year) and they had a small stall selling water pistols for £1 each (about $1.50) - as it was one of the warmest days of the year (in our somewhat disappointing summer so far) not only did they sell out quickly, but the kids had great fun. Great piece of thinking ahead by whoever set up that stall
