1) It's a good thing to do.
2) The convention is ALL volunteer. Who else is gonna do it?
3) You make new friends.
4) It's actually fun.
5) You get cool stuff!

This year the volunteers were treated to an after convention dinner
and a great talk and Q&A with author and chipper Al Moe.
Al has written three terrific books on Nevada gaming history.
We each received a signed copy of his new book and a very nice volunteer appreciation plaque.
The other book in the picture below is one of Al's books that I brought with me to the convention to
ask him to autograph, which he did graciously.

So volunteer next year!
