Dear Fellow Chipper,
For me, it's the excitement and great expectations of vacationing in LAS VEGAS!!!
When ever my wife and I vacation to Las Vegas, it's cheaper or almost the same as if we fly to a neighbor Island. Airfares are 190 dollars each RT. Got to rent a car=45 dollars a day. Hotel rooms at a five star resort are $300 each night, meals not included.
We do not have pineapple or sugar cane plantations and fields resources anymore. So it's tourism and military and their dependents reliance for our incomes.
So for us Islanders, Las Vegas is so very inexpensive, andan awesome great worthwhile deal! Just as long as you do not gamble too much. LOL!
Aloha,
Quintin Kamm
