These chips were issued at the promotions booth, not from any machine. Players had to accumulate a specific number of points on their player cards which made them eligible to reach into a large fishbowl each week and blindly grab one, two, three sealed envelopes depending upon the number of points on their players card. Players who completed the book after 25 weeks were invited to bring their completed collections to a reception at which they were eligible for prizes via drawings. Lots of chip trading went on inside the ballroom.
