I think it was the 2000 or 2001 convention that he came with that box of chips. But he sold them one by one, not letting people know he had a whole box. I think the first few went for close to $1,000 didn't they!!!

If I remember, at the time there was no real question about where they were from. It was just assumed they were Las Vegas chips. But after a couple of weeks, people started to question if they were not from the Cape Girardeau Thunderbird in Illinois.

I got mine in September of 2001 after the turd storm had blown over. I paid $25.00 for mine.
