The token appears clean and like new on the side that is exposed, John. There is a perfect reverse image of the token in the part of plastic that split off. I don't think removing adhered plastic is going to be a problem.

The idea of a second split occurred to me last night and I think I'll try that shortly.

I feel like I'm cutting the Hope diamond here grin .
