Todd, it is really pretty simple. If you wish to join a contest. Then send the host your chip or chips. So once the contest is over if you win you get yours along with other chips back. If you happen to loose then the contest host can send your chip out to the winner of said contest. Then nobody trying to track you down and possible hard feelings. I don't think anyone here bottom line cares about the value on the chips so much as it is just the bottom line principal of it. If you loose, pay up asap. If you win it is nice to get what is owed to you.
