Car rates for Las Vegas are just ridiculous. The base rate has finally fallen but in the past the fees were about 50% of the base rate. I just booked a car for $95 but the taxes are another $70. Check Travelocity for the best rates. My other problem is that I don't know if I will even get a chance to use a car. Last year my trips in the car were back and forth to the airport, trip to the Palms for the Chipboard get together and a few visits to the bank for the club. This year I don't even have to go to the Palms so maybe it is not worth it even though I am not leaving until Monday afternoon.
