And while NOT up to me, my commentary is that it should a discussion for the Board, just so, that while individual Board Members may have their own personal opinion on any matter, there needs to be an announced, agreed upon position by the Board, in the name of the Club. Even if that announced position is to say that there is no agreement!
And since I am making a comment on this subject:
I agree that Heritage has done nothing wrong.
The repair/restoration of chips should not be prohibited, BUT, at the same time, it should NOT be hidden that it was done.
And while the Club is not needed as the police force to enforce this (except where a Claim is made) the Club can certainly promote looking for means and methods of detecting hidden repairs/restorations.
