their attention but lets remember, its not their chip they are selling. Someone consigned that chip for sale (Most likely a club member).
Once again I see no wrongdoing on anyone's part by either the auction hours or even the consignor.
The club already has a policy on reselling repaired chips. The rules are specifically spelled out on the COE and followed precisely by Heritage.
Are we saying anyone who owns a modified chip should never be able to sell it?
I understand that repaired chips are bad for the hobby. I also understand that there is no law against repairing any collectable as long its properly noted in a future transaction. Artwork is restored all the time. Antique cars are commonly modified.
While I and many others see potential problems with the hobby, I honestly don't see what we as a club can do about it.
As I said however, the BOD will discuss it at the next BOD meeting.
