can inform them that we as a hobby do not approve of repairs being made on chips and that the value generally is severely reduced when such a repair is discovered. They could also be told, truthfully, that there are many who would not buy from a person who sells repaired chips. There is the concern that other chips will have unrevealed repairs and the thought that buying from that person is tacit acceptance of repaired chips. Also, even though heritage is being honest and disclosing the repair, someone down the line no doubt will not. I think these ideas, or some similar discussion would have a lot more weight coming from the Club and not just an individual. JMHO.
