club gets out of it is continued membership. And what the members get out of it is information presented in an excellent fashion. Would we keep existing members or bring in new members if we published a "pamphlet-type" publication? Doubtful, in my opinion. If you'd like to see more or different articles or scans of rare collectibles, perhaps you could volunteer to write an article or two or chase down some of those rare chips from various owners to see if you can get scans of them to include in the magazine.

Just in case you or others have forgotten, this club is run by volunteers. And these volunteers have professional & personal aspects of their individual lives that require time & attention. Maybe it's because I can see the efforts that these volunteers put forth, sometimes on a daily basis, that I really have learned to appreciate what we have as a club.
