As you said, that isn't what I meant. I'm not going to write a long rebuttal to everything you wrote because it would only serve to further erode what I thought would be a productive discussion.

My whole point was that Al had some great ideas that should be taken seriously. In my opinion, he could add a lot if he was put in a place to act on some of his ideas. I have a hard time believing that all of his ideas cost too much. But if you have looked into them and came to that conclusion...who am I to argue.

Seriously, no hard feelings intended. I just love the hobby and feel that it is gasping for breath currently. If we don't come up with some new and fresh ideas, it might be gone.
