The game is played with a revolving shoe and many, little old ladies.
The shoe is in the middle of a round table, just out of reach of the little old ladies. To extend their reach, they use these double ended pencils (erasers on each end) that are called 'pluckers' to "pluck" the next card from the shoe, draw it towards them and then grab the card to see what it is.
(This scan shows the circumference of the plucker by rolling it along with the scanners aperature during the scanning process. That why the image is distorted.)
The Sahara and the Plaza were the last casinos in Vegas to spread Pan and they did so all the way into 2000. Both the Plaza and Sahara offered the game at their poker rooms and the tables really were mostly filled with little old ladies.
Ron, I like the brochure. If you have a duplicate or ever want to let that one go to a good home, please let me know.
