"A second-generation Las Vegan, Alexandra Epstein is Executive Vice President and partner of the El Cortez Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas – the oldest continuously-operating property in Clark County.

Since coming to the property in late 2008, Alex has overseen all project development and management, marketing and public relations for the property. Major projects include the 2009 remodel of the once 102-room Ogden House Motel, previously an overflow property, into the El Cortez Cabana Suites, a 64-room high-end boutique property. She also managed the development of Emergency Arts in the Fremont Medical Center building, organized various competitions such as the Design a Suite Downtown and El Cortez Cinema competitions, co-organized Vegas StrEATs, a monthly food truck, music and art festival, and co-development of Downtown Cares, a grassroots effort to uplift Downtown Las Vegas by organizing area residents, small businesses and visitors to get involved and volunteer in neighborhood service days, and developed other various remodel projects throughout the property.

Outside her work at the El Cortez, Alex is a Board Member of The Neon Museum, the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce, The Jewish Federation of Las Vegas, and the UNLV Libraries Advisory Board, and was appointed by former Mayor Oscar Goodman to the City of Las Vegas Arts Commission."
