I will no longer taking single chip orders. Minimum of two, so it doesn't cost me $$ to make them available.
Today I was told it would cost $2.04 to mail a non-machinable regular envelope with one chip. Told her to put the $.64 stamp on it and label non-machinable. She refused to stamp non-machinable and tossed them in the mail.
Before I get reprimanded by everyone for using a regular envelope with thin cardboard around a current issue chip, I was making these available for $3ea and have only had three chips broken in the last 10 yrs. (two to the same person!!) Anyone who had ever ordered two or more chips, or a non-current issue chip from me received their chips well packaged in a bubble mailer. Okay....done venting!!!
