My post office (Bonita Springs, FL) informed me that any bubble wrap flat shipping envelopes, are now consider packages. If you ship with bubble wrap or want to receive your chips protected by bubble wrap envelopes, then prepare to pay for it. An example; the bubble wrap envelope that I just sent to Europe. It would cost me 5.45 if it had no bubble wrap material in it. (and you do not have to fill out the customs form) With the bubble wrap material it would be $12.95(and a customs form) for 4.90 ozs. This was just presented to me by the local PO and the supervisor of the counter clerks. I asked to see the written regulations, and they are going to send them to me. I will post the regulation if I receive it. And if anyone has any suggestions or experience with this, please post your info or email me direct. If it has been this way all the time, I have been very lucky, apparently. I have made a lot of mailings to Europe, Australia, South America & Canada. The supervisor that related this to me charged me the lower rate for the last two years. Reggie
PS they let me send it for the lower price "this time"...reg
