There's "Everything" wrong in sending a coin in those cardboard mailers! Chips it's less so, but coins and tokens are a big no!

The vapors from the glue of those cardboard sticky boards, are still present, even if they don't touch the coin/chip.

Those vapors, and glue vapors, can redeposit on a chip or coin even it's been in a mylar flip.
