Maybe my answer has not much to do with the discussion, but I leave my testimony interesting ....

Undoubtedly postal delivery between countries is problematic. When I started collecting, I just basically bought through Ebay. Few sent to Brazil.

After I joined the CCGTCC I "created" my supplier list, and today basically buy my chips with 3 or 4 friends who are CCGTCC. One is from England, and never "lost" chips sent there.

I have no problems with costs, because I know I'll have to pay more to get my chips, but my problems are with the customs process in Brazil, which is very slow and confusing, it is almost a "black hole".

To send to Brazil, the best way is by First-Class Mail International and it is important that the form of Customs is placed.

But in general I have managed to find sellers willing to ship to Brazil, mainly members of CCGTCC. To be honest, currently I only buy my chips from club members.
