Your post has raised an awareness that perhaps many U.S. collectors have not considered Alex.
While I plead guilty to placing restrictions on accepting ebay bids from SOME countries, I will re-evaluate my position in future ebay sales that I will be putting up next month (50 wet chips). The mandatory customs form necessary to ship overseas is a pain in the a** and as someone else has pointed out, requires a long wait at my local post office window for a clerk to take care of processing mail going outside the U.S. Postage costs to non-U.S. addresses has sky-rocketed with the new postal rates, so I'm thinking who would pay that money on an item that sometimes cost half the amount of the postage in some cases? Having said that; I have had interested bidders contact me and ask if I would accept their bids from Europe. In ALL cases I have said "yes". So, I'm suggesting to those bidders who may feel slighted or left out, it costs nothing to contact the seller and ask if he/she would accept your overseas bid on a particular item.
