I stayed in room at the Cosmopolitan that had a wrap around balcony that overlooked the Strip and the Bellagio fountains. You just have to remember to ask for that corner when you book it. Great place to drink your morning coffee and read the paper. It came with deck chairs and a nice patio couch set.

FYI: If fireworks are your goal, the Strip doesn't do any. New Year's Eve only for the big show.
