I was on the bandwagon for new chips, so was Table Games. My boss and the AGM were not. The $1's and $5's are dirty and disgusting. The others are OK, we rotate the chips weekly so the wear is fairly even on the chips, so we don't have problems with mis-racking (where you can get 21 chips in a barrel on a chip rack), which after 11 years is pretty remarkable. There is one automatic chip cleaner on the market - Table Games was going to buy - they checked the references, most of the casinos that bought them do not use them, so that was scratched. I feel in a couple of years we will be buying new chips, just not right now.
